Faith in Daily Life

We gather weekly to worship in community, but how do we live out our faith in our daily life: home, school, work and community?

This section will include ideas, resources and links for:
- Living as a Christian in the world
- The Sunday to Monday connection
- and more . . .
Links:
  • Faith and Work Initiative - The Princeton Faith & Work Initiative is where students, scholars, and practitioners critically reflect on the role faith plays in corporate life and leadership issues. We conduct our mission through a mixture of interdisciplinary research, writing, teaching, and programs. We engage students, marketplace leaders, and other thought leaders to consider the challenges and opportunities found at the intersection of faith and work. Join via Newsletter, our website, Blog, and in-person at upcoming events. David W. MIller, Ph.D. is the Director.
  • The Call to Discipleship - An essay by Kathleen Henderson Staudt about everyone's call to be a disciple might make an interesting starting point for discussion on how we live our faith out in the world.
  • Alternatives for Simple Living - Alternatives is a non-profit organization that equips people of faith to challenge consumerism, live justly and create meaningful celebrations Alternatives started in 1973 to promote an alternative biblical vision of life based on voluntary simplicity, stewardship of creation, and encouraging meaningful celebrations that reflect conscientious earth friendly ways of living. Throughout our 35-year history, we have led the movement to live more simply and faithfully. We have developed many different resources, published an annual Advent and Christmas magazine ("Whose Birthday Is It, Anyway?"), led numerous workshops, and reached countless people with the message of simple living.
